The effect of cultural environment on entrepreneurial decisions

Purpose This paper empirically examines whether the cultural environment plays a role in entrepreneurial decisions Europe, United States, Canada and Australia. Design/methodology/approach To explore this issue, we use data from Adult Population Survey of 2010–2015 provided by Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM). calculate factor, utilize additional information GEM National Expert estimate probit model to measure effect culture based on an unobserved latent variable satisfaction, measured through dichotomous identifying entrepreneurs.
